What You'll Be Doing:
- Repair, install, maintain, and test industrial electrical equipment and electronic controls.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) for manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in the plant.
- Develop and conduct preventative maintenance programs and maintain records.
- Test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Inspect circuits and wiring for proper shielding and grounding.
- Prepare purchase orders or requisitions for electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and Johnson Electric policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Electrical/Electronic trade certification.
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience (automotive preferred).
- Experience with PLC systems is essential.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, metal stamping presses, grinding, and heat treatment processes.
- Independent, self-motivated troubleshooter and problem solver.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Powder metal experience with presses, grinding, and sintering.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to physical demands.
