Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality presentation
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed
  • Process payments accurately through cashiering duties
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during busy periods

Skills

  • Previous restaurant experience in a food service role is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety practices
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated
  • Familiarity with sanitation standards in the food industry is essential
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
