Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and taping surfaces to ensure a smooth finish
  • Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools with precision and attention to detail
  • Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, welding, and filling to restore vehicle integrity before painting
  • Buff, polish, and detail vehicles post-painting to achieve a high-gloss finish that exceeds customer standards
  • Use power tools and auto repair equipment safely to carry out heavy lifting, sanding, and finishing tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use

Experience

  • Proven background in auto body repair and auto painting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques and buffing equipment ensures efficient workflow
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during the painting process
  • Prior experience working with auto body repair or auto restoration teams enhances collaboration skills
