**Job Summary**

The Auto Body Painter is responsible for ensuring quality standards, performs precise work and must exercise patience. The role requires a keen eye for colors, as matching paint colors is extremely important. Cleanliness and attention to detail is important in maintaining a clean workspace, cleaning their tools and providing superior quality of work.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare automotive parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Some removal and re-installation of bolt on components required
- Inspect work for any imperfections and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.
- Follow all procedures for mixing and handling paints and chemicals.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools in a safe manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Dry or bake newly painted areas.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Painter or similar role.
- Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- 2-3 years of previous experience in automotive painting
- Education in automotive painting an asset
- Attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
