Overview of role:
The Senior Loyalty Marketing Advisor is responsible for shaping and executing strategic initiatives that advance the marketing of Loyalty products across all touchpoints. Reporting to the Manager of Loyalty Marketing, this role leads strategic WestJet Rewards brand marketing efforts to drive awareness, consideration, and perception of the program. In addition, the Advisor develops and oversees WestJet Rewards member engagement initiatives designed to strengthen satisfaction, NPS, and overall program impact.
They collaborate closely with Loyalty stakeholders and Marketing colleagues to ensure a cohesive, compelling presence that supports the growth and performance of the program.

What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and communication plans to support new and existing loyalty products.
- Build clear, insight-driven go-to-market plans—including audience, channel mix, message strategy, and timing in collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Prepare and deliver agency briefings with objectives, key messages, creative direction, and required assets; provide ongoing guidance on concept, copy, visual execution and plans.
- Set campaign objectives and metrics of success. Ensure key messages and tactics align to both achieve campaign objectives.
- Manage campaign financials including estimate development, monthly forecasting, PO creation, and invoice reconciliation.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute integrated campaigns and initiatives, managing timelines, budgets, task coordination, and stakeholder alignment, while monitoring performance and providing data-driven recommendations to optimize messaging, media mix, and engagement tactics.
- Maintain consistency of WestJet Rewards visual identity, tone, and messaging across all communications and channels.
- Translate defined engagement pillars into actionable plans—ensuring communications and initiatives advance program goals effectively.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the broader member engagement strategy by identifying opportunities, insights, and unmet needs across the program and products.
Experience and qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Commerce.
- 8+ years leading brand, experiential, and integrated marketing initiatives.
- Proven ability to translate brand strategy into impactful, multi-channel programs.
- Is results driven. Able to leverage data and audience insights to inform strategy, creative development, and decision-making.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented, with a track record of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to project manage multi-channel campaigns of varying size, from conceptualization to implementation.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
- Strong understanding of, and experience working within the current media landscape.
- Solid experience in managing agencies (creative and media), partners and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship management skills, with the ability to bridge communication between Marketing and internal/external stakeholders.
- Team player with high standard of initiative and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
