We are seeking an experienced
Digital Architect
to support service innovation, program review, and digital transformation initiatives across the public sector.

In this role, you'll work within cross-functional, agile product teams to design and deliver user-centred digital services. You'll provide architectural leadership from discovery through delivery, helping teams modernize systems and build efficient, secure, and scalable solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead solution architecture for citizen-focused digital services
  • Define and communicate architectural vision, patterns, and standards
  • Guide agile teams through iterative delivery and technical decision-making
  • Balance delivery of user stories and technical work
  • Review and contribute to code as needed
  • Mentor developers and technical leads
  • Support system integration, modernization, and cloud-native solutions
  • Communicate architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years leading architecture for enterprise-scale digital solutions
  • Experience leading cross-functional agile teams
  • Strong background in solution architecture, integrations, and modernization
  • Experience working with UX, service design, or human-centred design approaches
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven architectures
  • CI/CD, DevSecOps, and secure development practices
  • Legacy modernization and incremental transformation
  • Containerization and infrastructure-as-code
  • Public sector digital delivery or enterprise architecture experience
