IT Design Researcher, Investments:
On behalf of our banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Design Researcher, Investments for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

IT Design Researcher, Investments - Job Description:
This role involves working on a new product aimed at targeting younger investors. The IT Design Researcher will support two squads in creating user test plans and collaborating with business and product teams to test and validate strategic goals and initiatives.

IT Design Researcher, Investments - Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers to help create user test plans
  • Collaborate with business and product teams to test and validate strategic goals
  • Develop research fieldwork approaches addressing business and design objectives
  • Moderate live sessions with users covering high-complexity topics
  • Communicate core themes and implications from research activities
  • Design and facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities

IT Design Researcher, Investments - Mandatory Skills:

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX research
  • Experience working within a large organization and agile environment
  • Proven knowledge of various design research methodologies
  • Technical understanding of design research theory and tools
  • Experience with Service Design and Journey Mapping
  • Excellent communication skills

IT Design Researcher, Investments – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Background knowledge in self-directed investment
  • Experience contributing to the launch of a digital product
  • Proficiency in Mural, Figma, Alida, Maze, User Testing, Confluence/Jira

IT Design Researcher, Investments – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
