Journeyman/woman Heavy Duty Mechanic

Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery, heavy trucks, trailers, machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems to determine the best course of action for repair.
- Assemble and disassemble machinery components as needed for maintenance or repair.
- Utilize welding techniques to repair or fabricate metal parts.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, heavy trucks, trailers, machinery and equipment. farm machinery, and other related equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical systems is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
