Role: Production Coordinator

Status: Permanent, Full Time

New or Replacement: Replacement Position

Reports to: Branch Manager

Location: Tecumseh, ON

Compensation: $28 - $34/per hour

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator will accept all incoming client inquiries relating to Plumbing & Electrical service and recognize that this may be the first contact customers have had with the organization. The Project Coordinator ensures that the clients are enthusiastic about how well they are treated.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the communication link between our customers and employees.
  • Provide field support and communicate changes as required.
  • Accept orders for equipment/materials and write-up work orders for production.
  • Maintain accurate costing and production information through data entry with attention to detail.
  • Enter data daily in our Service Titan software system and complete invoicing journals.
  • Enter all builder purchase orders in Service Titan software system.
  • Invoice customers for additional services completed on-site.
  • Set-up new customers in Service Titan software system with estimates and project details.
  • Other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or related field would be an asset.
  • Previous successful work experience in the construction industry, preferably in Plumbing and/or Electrical, a definite asset.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Team work is a priority and the Production Coordinator must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed.
  • The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
