Summary

Koto Sushi is seeking a skilled to join our team in Victoria. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering an extraordinary culinary experience by preparing high-quality sushi and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve sushi dishes according to traditional Japanese methods.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in all dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Assist with menu planning and development as needed.
  • Participate in training new staff members on food preparation techniques.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, particularly in sushi or Japanese cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and a commitment to quality.
