Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our parking lot's operations, as well as excellent communication skills. This role involves managing parking areas, guiding customers to help park their vehicles, and ensuring the efficient flow of traffic within the parking facility. This can be a fast paced role during events such as Hockey games, Events in the BMO, as well as Stampede.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage parking areas to ensure optimal space utilization.
  • Assist customers and provide directions as needed.
  • Ensure any unpaid vehicles are ticketed and towed by Calgary Parking Authority.
  • Conduct routine walk through's of parking lot to ensure safety of vehicles.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and customers regarding parking policies and procedures.
  • Collect payment, cash or debit/credit, and give parking tags.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while on site.
  • Flag/wave in vehicles from 12th Ave SE into parking lot.
  • Handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to think on your feet, and make decisions that benefit the parking lot/other vehicles.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 18 per week
