Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a compassionate individual who is eager to contribute to a positive patient experience while ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.

Duties

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment notes.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and work areas to adhere to infection control protocols.
  • manage patient flow within the office.
  • MUST BE OVER 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN DUNNVILLE OFFICE ALSO

Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:

  • Strong background in dental assisting techniques and practices.
  • Knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on patient interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
