Trades Recruiter (Temporary Contract – 6 Months) – Calgary, AB

A Day in the Life

  • Coordinate recruitment and staffing for site-based positions
  • Attract and recruit top talent through resume review, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and assessments in partnership with hiring managers
  • Present job offers to qualified candidates and guide them through the hiring process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the ATS, ensuring a professional candidate experience
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate results to applicants
  • Compile and share weekly recruitment statistics and insights
  • Support internal HR processes and contribute to recruitment strategy improvements
  • Represent PTW at job fairs, networking events, and on social media to promote our employer brand

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar recruitment role within the construction or industrial trades sector
  • Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently

Special Conditions of Employment

  • Must have experience as a Trades Recruiter
  • Knowledge of the Alberta market is essential
  • Knowledge of the BC and Saskatchewan markets is an asset

This is a 6-month temporary contract position based in Calgary, AB.
