Are you drawn to providing compassionate care and supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments? Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Spiritual Care Professional to join our team. In this role, you'll provide compassionate listening, spiritual guidance, and meaningful support to patients, families, and staff facing illness, loss, and life transitions.
This opportunity is unique in providing Spiritual Care in a clinical setting, as it involves working in our Woman and Infants' Health program, Oncology, ICU and GIM. You are a skilled listener, offering a non-judgmental and safe space for individuals to explore their spiritual and emotional needs. You are skilled at facilitating meaning-making for others by inviting people to reflect on their values. You find fulfillment in facilitating connection, providing ritual support, and helping others navigate life's complexities with resilience and hope.

To navigate these situations of suffering and loss, you must possess and cultivate emotional resilience. The sensitive nature of this work will require you to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
