Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
  • Order, interpret, and document diagnostic tests, including laboratory investigations, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date patient records utilizing the Accuro EMR system.
  • Assess the need for additional diagnostic investigations and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Perform joint injections with demonstrated clinical proficiency.
  • Exhibit a commitment to ongoing professional development, including training in ultrasound-guided joint injection techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of medical documentation, records management, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Preferably
    one (1) year
    of
    experience
    performing
    joint injections
    .
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Current licensure to practice in Ontario, along with valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
