Position Summary

SyBridge Technologies is seeking an experienced
Industrial Electrician
to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain machinery and equipment with specialization in industrial electrical activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safe operations by keeping work areas clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various machines, equipment, and facilities.
  • Lead the installation, maintenance and service of CNC machines, compressed air, water and exhaust duct work, pumps, presses, compressors, material-handling systems, gearboxes, fire suppression equipment and other machinery.
  • Lead periodic or diagnostic CNC Machine laser leveling and calibration to validate and adjust machine operation to within normal operation ranges per OEM specifications.
  • Lead troubleshooting and extensive industrial electrical or controller related repairs or refurbishment activities.
  • Supervise and train apprentice level technicians.
  • Support troubleshooting and extensive industrial mechanical related repairs or refurbishment activities under the supervision of an applicable certified or experienced technician.
  • Achieve scope of work in a manner that minimizes operations down time and is supportive of customer delivery requirements.
  • Maintain continuity among work shifts and historical maintenance activity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic means.
  • Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.
  • Actively maintain proficiency within the following areas:
  • Reading and utilizing schematics, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and ladder logic drawings and diagrams.
  • Test equipment, oscilloscope, multi meter, function generator, test fixtures, and sensors for predictive, preventive, and troubleshooting maintenance.
  • Installation of electrical runs and electronic devices in support of installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Electrical and Electronic System testing, fault diagnosis, and repair/replacement.
  • Precision tools such as laser alignment equipment, dial indicators, micrometers and precision and optical levels.
  • CNC Machine operation and troubleshooting techniques for OEMs such as DMG, FPT, Makino, Ona, Parpas, DMG, and Unisig.
  • CNC controller operation and troubleshooting techniques for OEMs such as Fanuc, Heidenhein, and Allen Bradley.

Qualifications:

  • Requires
    the successful completion of the industrial electrician (442A) certificate of qualification exam or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Requires
    a minimum of three (3) years' experience as an industrial electrician apprentice or equivalent in a role that had direct responsibility for preventative, predictive, and corrective CNC machine maintenance.
  • Experience operating CNC Machines is a plus.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required.
  • Ability to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proficient in time management and communication skills.
