We are seeking a visionary
Creative and Product Development Director
, capable of transforming design trends and inspirations into cohesive, distinctive, and commercially successful collections.
This key role is responsible for
defining and embodying the group's creative vision
,
anticipating emerging trends, inspiring teams, and guiding the visual execution
across our stores and marketing communications.
In close collaboration with Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations, the Creative Director plays a pivotal role in product development and selection, ensuring perfect alignment between aesthetics, customer experience, and brand strategy.
- Direct Responsibilities
Innovation & Trends
- Conduct continuous competitive and strategic monitoring of products, design trends, materials, colors, and styles.
- Attend international fairs and trade shows to identify new opportunities and sources of inspiration.
- Propose a creative and artistic vision for our collections, aligned with the company's positioning.
- Perform preliminary product selections during shows (based on creative appeal and collection coherence) according to predefined strategic parameters set by the VP of the department.
Artistic Direction & Visual Execution
- Define and lead the artistic direction of collections, ensuring aesthetic consistency, visual identity, and design DNA.
- Oversee in-store visual merchandising: product placement, visual storytelling, and creative planograms.
- Be responsible for the creative presentation of products in marketing materials — photoshoots, advertising, catalogs, and digital content.
- Develop moodboards, lookbooks, and creative guidelines to inspire and align internal teams.
Collection Launches & Drops
- Develop and lead seasonal and capsule collection concepts (e.g., summer, winter, holiday, Halloween, Christmas, etc.).
- Initiate and coordinate themed product drops linked to annual trends (e.g., velvet, natural materials, key color palettes).
- Identify and develop special collaborations with designers, creators, or international personalities.
- Oversee the creative direction and go-to-market execution of these collections, in collaboration with Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations.
Training & Product Knowledge Sharing
- Design and deliver product presentations to internal teams (sales, marketing, operations).
- Lead product training sessions for sales teams to ensure a consistent, inspiring, and brand-aligned narrative.
2. Collaborative Responsibilities
The Creative Director actively participates in the collaborative process leading to the final product assortment, working with:
- Planning & Merchandising Director: responsible for category growth, open-to-buy, product quantifications, and performance analysis.
- Supply Chain Director: responsible for supplier relationships, price and tariff negotiations, cost management, and production timelines.
3. Desired Profile
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Visual Arts, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, or any related field combining creativity and product understanding.
- Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in retail, interior design, fashion, or home décor — including a leadership role in creative direction, artistic direction, or collection development.
- Style & Trend Sensitivity: Deep knowledge of international design trends and the ability to identify and interpret emerging movements in materials, colors, textures, and lifestyle aesthetics.
- Creative Execution: Proven ability to translate artistic vision into tangible deliverables — moodboards, visual guides, planograms, product presentations, and brand storytelling.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Skilled at inspiring, mobilizing, and aligning multidisciplinary teams (merchandising, marketing, operations) without direct authority.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting creative ideas to senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners.
- Business Acumen: Strong balance of creativity and pragmatism, with the ability to integrate aesthetic vision into commercial and operational realities, ensuring profitability and performance.

- Responsabilités directes
Innovation & tendances
- Assurer une veille concurrentielle et stratégique continue sur les produits, les tendances design, matériaux, couleurs et styles.
- Participer aux foires et salons internationaux pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités et inspirations.
- Proposer une vision créative et artistique pour nos collections, alignée avec le positionnement de l'entreprise.
- Réaliser la pré-sélection des produits lors des salons (coup de cœur, cohérence avec les collections) basée sur la stratégie de l'organisation et des parametres prédéfinis par le VP du département.
Direction artistique & visuel
- Définir et piloter la direction artistique des collections (cohérence esthétique, identité visuelle, ADN design).
- Superviser le merchandising visuel en magasin : implantation des produits, storytelling visuel, planogrammes créatifs.
- Être responsable de la présentation créative des produits dans nos contenus marketing : photos, publicités, catalogues, contenus digitaux.
- Développer des moodboards, lookbooks et guides créatifs pour inspirer et aligner les équipes internes.
Lancements de collections & drops
- Développer et piloter le concept de collections saisonnières et capsules (ex. : collections été, hiver, fêtes, Halloween, Noël, etc.).
- Initier et coordonner des drops thématiques en lien avec des tendances annuelles (ex. : velours, matières naturelles, couleurs phares).
- Identifier et développer des collaborations spéciales avec des designers, créateurs ou personnalités internationales.
- Assurer la direction créative et la mise en marché de ces collections, en collaboration avec les marchands, le marketing et les opérations.
Formation & diffusion du savoir produit
- Concevoir et livrer des présentations produits aux équipes internes (ventes, marketing, opérations).
- Animer des formations produits pour les équipes de vente afin d'assurer un discours cohérent, inspirant et aligné avec la vision de la marque.
2. Responsabilités en collaboration
Le Directeur Créatif participe activement au processus collaboratif amenant à la mise en place de l'assortiment final des produits, avec :
- Directeur Planning et marchandisage : responsable de la croissance des mcatégories de produits, du Open-to-Buy, des quantifications et des analyses de performance produit.
- Directeur Chaîne d'approvisionnement : responsable de la relation fournisseurs, de la négociations des prix et tarrifs, et des coûts de revient et des délais de production.
3. Profil recherché
- Formation : Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en design, arts visuels, architecture d'intérieur, design industriel, ou tout autre domaine connexe combinant sens créatif et compréhension du produit.
- Expérience : Minimum de 8 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente dans le retail, le design d'intérieur, la mode ou la décoration — incluant un rôle de leadership créatif, direction artistique ou développement de collections.
- Sens du style et des tendances : Forte culture du design international, capacité à détecter et interpréter les tendances émergentes en matière de matériaux, couleurs, textures et styles de vie.
- Exécution créative : Aptitude à traduire une vision artistique en livrables concrets — moodboards, guides visuels, planogrammes, présentations produits et storytelling de marque.
- Leadership transversal : Capacité à inspirer, mobiliser et orienter des équipes multidisciplinaires (merchandising, marketing, opérations) sans autorité hiérarchique directe.
- Compétences en communication et présentation : Aisance à défendre une vision créative auprès de la haute direction, des équipes internes et des partenaires externes.
- Rigueur et sens commercial : Capacité à allier créativité et pragmatisme, en tenant compte des objectifs de rentabilité, de positionnement et de performance produit.
