We're hiring a Junior Production Coordinator
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our Project Management and Production teams. This role plays a critical part in the smooth execution of commercial roofing projects by ensuring materials, equipment, and documentation are delivered accurately and on time. You'll also assist the Senior Project Coordinator and Project Managers with administrative tasks and coordination efforts, and lead new hire orientations to ensure seamless onboarding for field and office staff.
What You'll Do
- Provide administrative and logistical support to assigned Project Managers and the production team
- Assist the Senior Project Coordinator with project tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring all onboarding materials and processes are completed accurately
- Review project files, work order binders, and ensure all required documentation is complete and up to date
- Assist in preparing project startup and closeout documentation
- Collect and organize field paperwork, including safety forms, daily reports, and packing slips
- Complete and distribute weekly production reports with accurate site data
- Issue purchase orders and track vendor deliveries to ensure materials and equipment arrive on schedule
- Maintain project documentation and support project management systems with updated data
- Help coordinate equipment deliveries, inspections, and job site mobilization/demobilization
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in an admin role - preferably in the construction industry
- Experience conducting employee onboarding or orientation is a strong asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management or ERP systems
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive approach to work
