Dental Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our busy dental practice in beautiful Wasaga Beach. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and patient education. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures such as extractions and root canal treatment and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
• Utilize dental software such as Epic and Dentrix for patient records management and treatment documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Maintain a clean and sterile working environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Experience

• RCDSO in good standing
• Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (computer-aided design) software is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
