Job Duties:

  • Participate in morning Safety Meetings
  • Complete daily FLHA's (Field Level Hazard Assessment)
  • All tasks associated with laboring
  • Place/ finish concrete
  • Install and tie rebar and welded wire mesh
  • Spread, level and smooth concrete using a rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float.
  • Edge/ tool cuts
  • Finish concrete to specifications/ apply architectural, stamped, exposed, patterned, broom or smooth finishes
  • Chip, scrape and grind high spots, ridges and rough projections to concrete
  • Mix cement, concrete, mortar and patching compounds
  • Produce rough concrete surface, using a broom
  • Operate power trowel

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of concrete finishing
  • Knowledge of hand tools and floats
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Understand productivity
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have valid drivers license and own transportation
  • Must be reliable
  • Knowledge and skill to operate vibe screed, power trowel, run laser and set elevations

Summary

As a Concrete Placer and Finisher, you will be integral to the construction process, responsible for placing and finishing concrete to create durable surfaces. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will utilize core skills in concrete forming and finishing, along with hand and power tools, to ensure high-quality results. Your skills in rebar installation will enhance project efficiency, while relevant skills such as blueprint reading will support overall project execution. Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Concrete Placing: 1 year (required)
  • Concrete Finishing: 3 years (preferred)
