We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision
  • Bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain cleanliness in dining areas
  • Support catering and banquet setups, ensuring all food service areas are well-organized and stocked
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils through regular cleaning routines
  • Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures in accordance with health standards
  • Support the culinary team with serving food during meal times or special events
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock needs
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen safety practices is a plus
  • Experience with bussing, cleaning, or supporting banquet events is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
