As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging Inc. is recruiting for a Credit and Collections Analyst in Waterloo

Position Summary

Our Finance Team is looking for a FT experienced credit analyst to manage a designated portfolio of accounts and work as part of the shared services team , contributing as needed toward the assigned team goals.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent and accurate credit management of an assigned portfolio.

  • Provide guidance to team members related to management of accounts, credit laws etc.

  • Ensure effective management of accounts in compliance with applicable internal policies, as well as external laws and regulations.

  • Ensure that timely resolution of all disputes is made.

  • Ensure that material risk exposures and related issues are reported to management as appropriate.

  • Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and support reporting templates for multiple business units for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Including month-end close process.

  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial credit experience

  • Demonstrated abilities in organization and time management

  • Success in a fast-paced environment, work well independently  

  • Highly analytical with sound business judgment, proven documentation skills and attention to detail

  • Exceptional Excel skills

  • A strong communicator who can multi-task

  • A problem-solver who embraces changing environments

  • A strong understanding of financial controls and procedures

ASSETS:

  • A CCP designation or experience in a publicly traded environment   

  • SAP and Oracle experience

  • Willingness to work overtime due to financial reporting deadlines and global support requirements
