Description

The Administrative Assistant provides high-quality administrative support to multiple Patient Care Managers within the hospital. This role is responsible for coordinating communications, managing documentation, organizing schedules, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the patient care departments. The Administrative Assistant acts as a key liaison between managers, staff, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Office/Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive administrative and/or clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Reliable attendance record
