Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team in providing high-quality food service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy hours
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed throughout food preparation and serving
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, utensils, and workstations in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
