Look no further, as we are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions for a finance related 5 years classified project.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software development, cloud platforms, and system architecture, with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects utilizing cutting-edge tools and frameworks, ensuring scalable, highly secured, and efficient solutions across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive architecture strategies for on-premises applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, technical and high security standards.
  • Design and lead the creation of highly scalable, reliable, and secure on-premises cloud solutions, specifically utilizing open-source cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical architectures utilizing technologies like REST, SOAP (WCF), and/or GraphQL.
  • Define best practices for software development, DevOps processes, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Backstage and Git (Gitea or any open source Git Server).
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate frameworks including React, for front-end development; Python, , Go for back-end development; and databases like MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL solutions.
  • Oversee integration strategies involving Kafka, storage services, and other third-party systems needed.
  • Ensure adherence to high security standards and compliance requirements throughout the architecture lifecycle.
  • Mentor development teams on architecture best practices and emerging technologies to foster continuous improvement.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar senior technical leadership role within enterprise environments.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (K8s, ArgoCD, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Strong background in application development using JavaScript frameworks (React, ) for front-end; Python, , or Go for back-end development; and familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GHA, ArgoCD, Open Policy.
  • Deep understanding of database systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, NoSQL databases.
  • Experience designing APIs using RESTful services; working with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Deep knowledge of highly secured software principles.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns involving Kafka or similar messaging systems. This Solution Architect role is pivotal in shaping our technology landscape by delivering innovative solutions that drive business success while maintaining high standards of quality and security.
