As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating AI adoption and ensuring the successful deployment of analytics solutions across Guidewire's core systems. We seek a technical leader with deep insurance and software expertise, a passion for innovation, and a strong ownership mentality. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver market-ready products, drive customer value, and support Guidewire's mission to transform the global P&C insurance industry.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Become Guidewire's leading field expert on Embedded Analytics, documenting and sharing technical know-how across the organization.

Coordinate with Engineering, Delivery Services, and other teams to integrate Analytics Manager with Guidewire core systems, microservices, and external platforms.

Configure production demo template solutions and assist with customer solution troubleshooting and QA.

Conduct end-to-end testing of Industry Intel models in Dev, Stage, and Prod environments, spanning ClaimCenter, AppEvents, Webhooks, Analytics Manager, and Predict.

Troubleshoot complex integrations and perform comprehensive integration testing.

Evangelize best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of Guidewire's analytics offerings.

Support the launch of new product categories and market-ready solutions in alignment with Product Strategy priorities.

Required

Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Strong ownership mentality and excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

10+ years' experience in Insurance, Software, IT, Security, Financial consulting, or equivalent pre-sales/post-sales engineering roles.

Guidewire Cloud Certification.

Experience with Guidewire technology: InsuranceSuite Cloud and self-managed, InsuranceNow, App Events, WebHooks, Integration Gateway, etc.

Proficiency in programming languages (Gosu, Java, Apache Camel, JavaScript, Python), expression languages (jsonPath, jmesPath), and databases (DynamoDB, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server).

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Kafka, S3, SQS) and integration frameworks.

Deep understanding of ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter functionality and APIs, including extensions.

Experience with DataDog and error monitoring & handling.

Preferred

InsuranceSuite Cloud Integration Developer certification.

Experience documenting technical best practices and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The Canadian CAD base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 - $160,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
