Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Window Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating high-quality custom window components, ensuring precise measurements and adherence to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, welding, and construction-related skills, with a strong focus on safety and quality standards. Duties

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate window components
  • Operate various fabrication equipment including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and sheet metal tools
  • Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding techniques to assemble parts according to specifications
  • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise fabrication
  • Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork components following ASME codes & standards
  • Rigging and rigging-related tasks such as pipe threading and assembly of mechanical parts
  • Maintain quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and adherence to schematics
  • Follow safety protocols related to construction site work, crane operation, forklift handling, and mechanical processes
  • Assist with the setup and operation of machinery involved in machining and fabrication processes
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction site work or manufacturing environments involving fabrication or assembly
  • Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding; certification is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
  • Mechanical knowledge related to ductwork, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks
  • Experience operating forklifts or cranes is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance in a construction or manufacturing setting
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
