Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.Reporting to the Loadout Supervisor and/or Loadout Crew Leader, the Loadout Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the loading systems and equipment associated with the Urea and Liquid NH3 loading processes.This position is a temporary role for 18-months with the possibility of extension. This role is located at Nutrien'sFort Saskatchewan, Albertasite and is not eligible for remote work. This roleWhat You Will DoParticipate in morning toolboxes, safety meetings, and inspectionsComplete progression system within prescribed timeframeComplete preventive maintenance on operating equipment and associated systems within standard operating conditions and limitsComplete daily loading activities as specified by the Loadout Supervisor. Accomplished by a rotation based on the team personnel and daily shipping requirements of the Nutrien Shipping DepartmentWhat You Will BringKnowledge of provincial and federal safety code requirements including TDG Regulations and Industrial Rail Operation Rules (IROR) preferred but not requiredAbility to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, skid steer, Rail car mover, and front-end loader preferred but not requiredDemonstrated experience loading dangerous goods preferredAbility to work in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal skillsComputer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email preferredAbility to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivatedAbility to be able to multitask on a daily basis within the departmentAble to work night shifts and additional hours as requiredReady to make an impact with us?
