Job Summary

We are a 5 bay garage, family owned and operated for 46 years.

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual Mechanic Helper/Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will assist skilled mechanics in performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicles all makes and modles. From oil changes to replacing transmissions and everything inbetween.This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive or mechanical field while contributing to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist mechanics in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs.
  • Help with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, tire change overs and brake inspections and whatever else comes in to be worked on
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting mechanical problems and identifying necessary parts for repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding tasks and progress.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an automotive or mechanical setting is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and on your own
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Must have own reliable transportation to and from work

Pay will be based on experiance and discused at interiew
