A. Purpose and Scope

To produce printed components through various methods/machines.

B. Responsibilities

  • Ensures all ink and components needed for printing are readily available before printing is started.
  • Operate different printing machine including stamping and screen printing.
  • Places, positions and aligns components onto the machine to be printed while maintaining a consistent flow of goods.
  • Does minor set-up and adjustments on printing machines.
  • Visually inspects printed component for clarity of printing and general appearance.
  • Ensures quantities as required on the work order have been printed.

C. Physical Requirements

  • Constant movement of neck (head-tilting, turning left or right)
  • Repetitive and/or forceful finger movements
  • Constant wrist movement
  • Fast paced environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Repetitive tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • Standing for long periods of time

Job Requirements:

A. Education and Training : -

Secondary school diploma. Must be trained on WHMIS and GMP.

B. Experience : -

A minimum of six (6) months experience in operating a printing machine.

C. Other Skills Required : -

Excellent manual dexterity and eye/hand co-ordination. English communication skills.

D. Employees Supervised : N/A
