Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver position located in Sparwood, BC. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating Class 8 vehicles and other equipment to transport various goods. Responsibilities include following DOT regulations, ensuring safe loading and unloading of freight, maintaining vehicle maintenance logs, and adhering to all company and safety protocols. The role involves collaboration with logistics teams to guarantee timely deliveries while providing excellent service to clients.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid CDL Class A license
  • Proven experience in truck driving, including operation of Class 8 and other commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to safety compliance
  • Experience with loading and unloading freight efficiently and securely
  • Strong ability to manage and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including handling heavy equipment
  • Experience with open deck freight hauling is a plus
