About your next
Challenge as a Mechanical Engineering Technician
:
What will you do:

  • Create 3D models for new assemblies
  • Convert drawings from a 3D model into the proper format with required dimensioning
  • Create new assemblies and fabricated parts using CAD tools
  • Create Bill of Material (BOM)

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Technical degree in mechanical drafting or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar areas.
  • Knowledge of mechanical CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor and CREO).
  • Knowledge of electrical CAD tools (Zuken) an asset.
  • Must be detail-oriented.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada "Reliability" status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
