Commercial Flooring Estimator/Project Manager

WHAT'S THE ROLE - We are looking to add to our team of Floorcovering professionals in our Commercial department. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the drive to succeed. Strong organizational, computer and communication skills required. Position is a combination of project management, estimating, and sales. Experience in flooring, construction, or sales are all assets. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced flooring estimator or for someone joining the flooring industry with construction estimating/project management and related education and /or background. Benefits available after 1 year.

Terms:Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day,

Salary:Salary and Profit Sharing bonuses. Depending on experience and capabilities - six figure total income

Requirements:

  • Completion of high school
  • Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
  • Valid driver's license
  • WHIMIS
  • Bondable, basic security clearance & criminal record check
  • Hard hat & steel toed safety boots
  • Duties:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
  • Prepare bill of material
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors
  • Select sub-trade
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures. Work with RFMS Measure software
  • Advise on tendering procedures
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Read specifications

Pay: Up to $200,000.00 per year
