We are looking for a passionate Manager capable of leading our capital investment (CAPEX) and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) procurement activities with a strong focus on performance, innovation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the full "Source-to-Contract" cycle for CAPEX projects

• Act as a strategic partner to Operations teams to ensure the success of industrial projects (budget, quality, timelines).
• Launch and manage RFx processes, analyze technical and commercial proposals, negotiate optimal terms, and formalize contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance throughout projects and ensure a high level of internal stakeholder satisfaction.

2. Deploy and adapt CAPEX & MRO procurement strategies

• Collaborate with the Sodiaal Group category team (France) to adapt global strategies to the Canadian market.
• Engage and align internal stakeholders, then ensure local implementation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.

3. Develop and integrate innovative ideas

• Monitor the market to identify high-potential new technologies and solutions.
• Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement and best practices within the Procurement & Operations ecosystem.
• Actively participate in professional networks to enrich our vision and partnerships.

The position is based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec with occasional travel to Montreal. Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience: 5–7 years in strategic procurement, engineering, industrial management, or maintenance.
• Experience in the agri-food sector (perishable products) is a strong asset.
• Collaborative leadership: ability to influence and unite without direct hierarchical authority.
• Project management: proactive, anticipatory, able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Agility: comfortable with paradoxes, resilient, and solution-oriented.
• Analytical mindset: able to turn data into actionable decisions.
• Communication: fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, in an international context.

Le poste est basé à Saint-Hyacinthe avec des déplacements occasionnels à Montréal.

En intégrant notre équipe le gestionnaire de catégorie achats indirects - CAPEX devient un acteur clé dans la réalisation de projets industriels d'envergure, tout en contribuant à l'optimisation de nos processus

et à la création de valeur durable pour l'entreprise.

Plus précisément :

• Lancer et gérer les appels d'offres (RFx), analyser les propositions techniques et commerciales
• Négocier stratégiquement selon les besoins actuels et futurs les meilleures conditions contractuelles avec les fournisseurs locaux et formaliser les contrats.
• Piloter l'approvisionnement pour les projets Capex et ou les besoins MRO : de la définition des besoins à la livraison finale
• Collaborer avec les équipes techniques(ingénierie, maintenance, production)
• Suivre la performance fournisseurs tout au long des projets et Assurer un suivi rigoureux des coûts, des délais et des livrables
• Collaborer et conseiller l'équipe catégorie du groupe Sodiaal (France) pour adapter les stratégies globales au marché canadien.
• Surveiller le marché pour identifier les nouvelles technologies et solutions à fort potentiel.

Votre profil :

• Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, dans le domaine de la gestion de la châine d'approvisionnement ou tout autre connexe.
• Expérience : 5 à 7 ans en achats stratégiques, plus précisément au niveau de projets CAPEX et MRO (un atout majeur)
• Capacité à travailler en transversal, dans un environnement multi-interlocuteurs
  Bilinguisme (communications constantes avec des fournisseurs Internationaux)
