Team Lead, Business Services Sourcing, Indirect

**Role and Responsibilities** The Indirect Procurement Department is looking to hire an experienced professional with a supply management background to lead the Business Services Sourcing Team as part of the IT and Business Services Sourcing Group. **Main responsibilities** **Team management responsibilities** Reporting to Senior Manager, IT and Business Services Sourcing, The Business Services Sourcing Team Lead will be managing a team of two (2) Procurement Analysts and one (1) Category Manager, and will therefore be responsible for the following: - Coach and support current team in terms of Category Management and Strategic Sourcing. The key success indicator of this responsibility is to be able to transform the current mainly reactive operating model to a proactive model whereby category strategies are established and revisited on an annual basis in liaison with stakeholders, including HR, Communication and Marketing, Finance as well as Civil Aviation business units. Category strategies will then be translated into a rolling 12-month pipeline of strategic sourcing projects to be maintained and prioritized in DevOps, the Indirect Procurement project tracking tool. - Support team growth and development by establishing/updating and executing individual development plans focused on core and soft skills. - Conduct performance and talent reviews on a semi-annual basis and update individual development plans accordingly. - Stimulate and inspire the team to participate in process improvement initiatives. - Work with HR partners to hire new talent as and when needed. **Individual **C**ontribution **R**esponsibilities** In addition to management responsibilities, the Team Lead will have the following individual contribution responsibilities: - Maintain, enhance, and promote the Contingent Workforce Program that is currently in place. This work will be done in collaboration with the incumbent managed services provider (MSP). - Maintain and expand existing relationships with key stakeholders and build new ones with the executive team of the Civil Aviation business units to promote GSS value proposition and identify opportunities for strategic collaboration with these units. To be successful in this position, the individual is expected to demonstrate the following skills, experience and background: - University degree, ideally in procurement and/or recognized industry accreditation (ISM CPSM, CIPS, SCMP, etc.) - 6-8 years of relevant experience. - Sound judgement and good business acumen. - Results and customer-oriented mindset. - Agility and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication with great capacity to synthesize messages in an executive-facing format. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong cooperative and supportive relationships. - Autonomy to manage multiple tasks with efficient prioritization. - Ability to work with a diverse clientele and adapt to a variety of situations and people. - Proactive attitude and initiative-driven. - Good work ethics and political savviness. - Proficient use of digital tools such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), PDF, SAP Ariba, DevOps, and others. - Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.
