Position Summary
We are seeking a
Programs Officer
to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of Casa Foundation's programs. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program administration, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic nonprofit environment.
The intern will play an important role in supporting day-to-day program operations, ensuring smooth execution, and contributing to Casa's mission of advancing social impact.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Support
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and delivering programs, workshops, and community events.
- Help track program activities, deliverables, and participant engagement.
- Support logistics for both in-person and virtual programs, including setup, scheduling, and communications.
Outreach & Engagement
- Support communication with program participants, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing outreach materials and program documentation.
- Help with follow-ups, surveys, and feedback collection to evaluate program effectiveness.
Content & Administrative Support
- Assist in drafting program reports, presentations, and related documents.
- Maintain program files, records, and databases.
- Support the preparation of grant and sponsorship materials as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the Programs Team.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Coordinate with volunteers, interns, and other departments to ensure smooth program execution.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and planning discussions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite.
- Experience with Canva or other design tools is an asset.
- Interest in program management, nonprofit work, and community development.
