Job Summary

The Assistant Safety Manager is responsible for assisting the Safety Manager in all logistics compliance matters and HR administration

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintain compliance with the programs, and operating requirements of the Canada Border Services Agency and the US Customs and Border Protection.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing accident reports, conducting interviews and investigations.
  • Assist with Accident Files management.
  • Assist in conducting employee interviews.
  • Assist in the completion and filing of all regulatory reports.
  • Assist the Safety Manager with all HR matters and policy application.
  • Other duties assigned by the Safety Manager.

Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of the transportation industry.
  • Good working knowledge of transportation regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of HR administration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,634.37-$122,397.58 per year
