The WOMB (World of my Baby) Vaughan is a multidisciplinary, collaborative, integrative health centre specifically focused on pre & post-natal care as well as babies and families.

We are currently seeking a Postpartum Daytime and/or Overnight Doula to join our incredible team of professionals

The right candidate will be warm, nurturing, and client focused with a love for babies and for supporting new families as they enter parenthood. They MUST be certified as a Postpartum Doula (DONA, CAPPA, or equivalent) and have experience with feeding, establishing healthy sleep habits, and soothing / caring for babies. Must be able to travel to clients homes throughout the GTA. Liability insurance is required.

This is a part-time contractor position with the ability to build your desired caseload.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Feeding baby (from newborn)

  • Burping

  • Changing diapers

  • Bathing

  • Soothing and putting baby to sleep

  • Light housework including washing and sanitizing bottles, laundry, kitchen tidy-up,

  • Supporting the new mother through the transition and providing resources as necessary

  • Basic meal preparation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Fully certified as a Postpartum Doula

  • Member of the AOD

  • Vulnerable Sector Check

  • Liability Insurance

  • Reliable transportation to get to client's homes
