Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to during food handling, preparation, and serving.
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Follow all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold health standards in the restaurant.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures.
  • Experience in upselling menu items and providing excellent guest services is advantageous.
