Materials Management Supervisor
to lead a team in a fast-paced distribution environment for our client in Richmond, BC. In this role you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, optimizing material management procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and business standards, and driving cost reduction initiatives.
- Pay Rate: $80-90K/year (based on experience)
- Location: Richmond, BC
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM (occasional Saturday overtime)

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team to meet operational metrics
- Develop and optimize material management procedures
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Manage facility supply requirements
- Support new production introduction (NPI) activities
- Maintain compliance with business excellence standards
- Drive annual cost and target reduction initiatives
- Coach and develop team members for consistent performance
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires
- Complete timekeeping for the team
- Apply corrective actions for performance, attendance, and safety issues
- Work overtime as needed based on workload
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience in a shipping/distribution center environment
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle or ADP for timekeeping
- Background in distribution within a customer-centric organization
- Ability to motivate and lead teams effectively
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles
- Materials management experience
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
