Our Client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to provide overarching coordination, governance, and accountability across all parties, working in partnership with the vendor to ensure successful delivery of a legacy system replacement project. The project must ensure a smooth transition for staff and a seamless experience for clients. A Senior Project Manager is required to oversee this complex in-flight project, focusing on vendor accountability, risk management and successful delivery of all aspects of this critical replacement on time, on budget and to standards.

While this role is remote (with optional onsite meetings), all work must be done from within Canada due to network and data security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contract requirements, deliverables, and performance tracking. (5+ years)
  • Experience project managing application development projects for enterprise-scale systems (CRM or ERP/Banking/Finance type systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Social Services Case Management), (5+ years)
  • Experience project managing application development projects using Agile sprint development. (5+ years)
  • Experience project managing application development projects using a hybrid delivery model (agile development with waterfall timelines). (3+ years)
  • Experience project managing waterfall application development projects. (8+ years)
  • Experience working as a Project Manager on large complex software/application development projects in a large and complex environment. (8+ years)
  • Working knowledge of system implementation lifecycle activities including development, testing, data migration, training, change management, and go live support. (5+ years)

Nice To Have Skills

  • Active PMP certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent.
