GIMS Upgrade
The Grant Information Management System (GIMS) system is currently used to deliver multiple grants to Albertans. The technology stack that these systems are built on are end of life and no longer supported, causing business disruption because of ineffective functionality. A pre-assessment was completed with a recommendation to move forward with the GIMS Cloud Migration utilizing SharePoint Online, Dynamics CRM Online, and Power Pages.

GIMS Grants Enhancements
Enhancements to the Grant Information Management System (GIMS) will allow Albertans to be able to apply for the following three grants: The Alberta Community Partnerships (ACP) relaunch; The Canada Community Building Fund (CCBF) relaunch; and The Local Growth and Sustainment Grant (LGSG) requires development and implementation.

GIPOT Upgrade
The Grants In Place Of Taxes (GIPOT) system is currently used to deliver multiple grants in place of taxes for municipalities for Government owned properties and structures. The technology stack that these systems are built on are end of life and no longer supported, causing business disruption because of ineffective functionality. A pre-assessment was completed with a recommendation to move forward with the GIPOT Cloud Migration utilizing SharePoint Online, Dynamics CRM Online, and Power Pages.

Must-Haves:

• 8 years of experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• 8 years of experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
• 8 years of experience in a project management role.
• 8 years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently
• 8 years of experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations.
• 8 years of experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Government of Alberta.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent

Work Experience Must-haves:

• 4 years of experience creating and managing project forecast and actual budgets.
• 4 years of experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project
• 4 years of experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
• 4 years of experience exercising resourcefulness when making recommendations on highly technical or complex business issues without formal guidelines or precedents.
• 4 years of experience leading change management and communication planning.
• 2 years of experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, overseeing end-to-end project delivery.
• 2 years of experience leading Microsoft Power Pages implementation, overseeing end-to-end project delivery.
• 2 years of experience leading Microsoft Power Pages implementation, overseeing end-to-end project delivery.
• 4 years of experience working in an enterprise architect environment
• 3 years of experience working in the public sector
• 4 years of experience working with information management and cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidelines within limited timelines.
• 4 years of Senior leadership experience working in the post-secondary sector (ideally Canada) with a sound knowledge of its stakeholders, business functions and informational requirements.4 years
