Job Overview:

Downright Demolition Ltd. specializes in interior demolition projects throughout Edmonton. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role is integral to the success of our projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for estimating project costs, networking with potential clients, and managing demolition projects through to completion. You will work closely with site superintendents and foremen to ensure project efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Networking: Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, attend networking events, and proactively seek out new business opportunities.
  • Estimating: Review project plans and blueprints, develop accurate cost estimates for interior demolition projects, and present proposals to clients.
  • CRM Management: Utilize a CRM system to track client interactions, organize project follow-ups, and manage project workflows.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of demolition projects from initiation through completion, collaborating with site superintendents and foremen to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Sales Accountability: Drive sales by converting leads into contracts and ensuring high client satisfaction to encourage repeat business.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members throughout each project.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the General Manager, reporting on sales targets, project statuses, and any emerging issues or risks.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating and project management, preferably in the demolition or construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Strong sales and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts required depending on project deadlines.
