The Opportunity

High School Teacher - Math & Science

Full-time - starting Feb 2026

We are seeking dedicated High School Teachers to join our team and inspire students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

We are a reputable school that is preparing generations of students in Toronto to be equipped for university, college, career, and life's successes. Responsibilities:

  • Teaching the high school subjects to Grade 9-12 students.
  • Availability at the school premises from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Toronto.
  • Preparing daily lesson plans, assessment & evaluation per Growing Success document.
  • Marking the assessments/evaluations and reporting back to the principal in a timely manner.
  • Possessing interest in fostering diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice to promote a healthy learning environment.
  • Engaging in positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) considered a strong asset
  • Demonstrate mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for courses taught.
  • Experienced with teaching the high school course and preparing daily lesson plans in accordance with the Ontario curriculum.
  • Experienced in developing Course Outlines and Course of Study is an asset.
