International Landscaping Inc. (ILI) is a proud family-run company celebrating its 33rd year of business. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Landscape Maintenance Department and ensure exceptional service delivery across all residential, commercial and industrial properties.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing field supervisors and maintenance crews, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality workmanship, and strong client satisfaction. This role requires an experienced leader with a focus on productivity, organization, profitability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for multiple summer and winter landscape maintenance teams and projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and support field supervisors and crew leaders to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, staffing plans, and workflow processes.
  • Monitor labor hours, materials, equipment usage, and project costs to maintain operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients through proactive communication and responsive service.
  • Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, training initiatives, and performance improvement strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance management or a comparable leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews, schedules, and operational demands.
  • Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance operations.
  • Experience with scheduling or job management software (asset).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
