Job Summary

EOS Construction & Consulting is hiring a Site Supervisor – Wood Framing to oversee on-site framing operations for construction projects. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring daily presence on site. The successful candidate will lead crews, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure framing work is completed efficiently and in compliance with Canadian codes.

This position is ideal for an experienced Site Supervisor, Framing Supervisor, Foreman, or Lead Carpenter with strong leadership and technical framing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site wood framing activities for multi-family residential projects.
  • Lead framing crews and coordinate daily work plans and sequencing.
  • Ensure work complies with construction drawings, specifications, and the National Building Code of Canada.
  • Enforce on-site safety requirements (OH&S, WCB/WorkSafe, COR).
  • Monitor productivity, crew performance, and schedule adherence.
  • Perform quality inspections and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Quality Control, and Logistics teams.
  • Maintain daily site reports, progress logs, and safety documentation.
  • Identify site risks, constructability issues, and corrective actions.
  • Act as the main on-site contact for inspections and coordination.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in wood framing construction.
  • Experience as a Site Supervisor, Framing Supervisor, Foreman, or Lead Carpenter.
  • Strong knowledge of structural wood framing systems (walls, floors, roofs, shear walls).
  • Solid understanding of Canadian construction standards and practices.
  • Proven ability to lead crews in high-production environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work full-time on site (non-remote position).

Preferred Assets

  • Red Seal Carpenter certification.
  • Experience with multi-family projects.
  • COR, First Aid, or safety-related certifications.
  • Experience coordinating inspections and quality control processes.
