Key Responsibilities

• Record accounts payable functions, including coding, posting and reconciling vendor accounts.
• Prepare inventory tracking working sheets for F&B outlets.
• Process and reconcile prepaid and accrual expense monthly journal entries.
• Assist in month-end-closing
• Provide accounting and administrative support to the financial team with daily tasks as needed.
• Assist in administering the filing and organizing of month-end journal entries.
• Other duties as required

What You Bring

• Post-secondary diploma/degree in accounting preferred.
• One year of accounting experience in similar role
• General knowledge of accounting and financial theories, practices, tax, legislation and resources.
• Knowledge of accounting software, experience with Great Plains is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), data-based software, email and web browsers.
• Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
• Effective communication skills and an ability to define and solve problems.
• Skilled at data collection and analytics.
• Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple priorities and demands.
