5 Tonne Dump Truck Driver – New Elevation Civil Construction (Metro Vancouver)

We are currently seeking a 5 Ton Dump Truck Driver to join our field team.

What You'll Do

You'll operate and maintain a 5 ton dump truck and trailer to safely transport materials to and from civil construction job sites. Your commitment to professionalism and safety will help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and drive a 5 ton dump truck and trailer in accordance with BC road regulations and company policies.
  • Load, haul, and unload materials such as construction material, gravel, spoil, and construction debris.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  • Keep assigned truck clean and in good working condition.
  • Assist crews on site when required (spotting, directing, labour support).
  • Maintain accurate delivery and load records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and crew members.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and traffic management requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Valid Heavy Trailer Endorsement.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract (required).
  • Experience in civil construction considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of safe loading, hauling, and dumping practices.
  • Physically fit, safety-focused, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $25.15-$35.76 per hour
