YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor, you will be part of the Planning & Reliability Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Analyze technical data, understand contract requirements, and evaluate the condition of component cores to validate warranty cases.
  • Prepare eligible cores and communicate all requirements for return to suppliers.
  • Communicate the eligibility of the warranty claim to key department contacts.
  • Assess rebuildable components for feasibility of repair and return to on-site inventory.
  • Support our PCR program by enabling cost-effective rebuilds and providing recommendations to replace non-economical cores with new supply from vendors.
  • Track all core components throughout the maintenance life cycle and declare when recently replaced component cores are due for return to the warehouse.
  • Raise awareness of late and overdue returns to Maintenance Management for follow-up.
  • Oversee the logistics of component cores leaving and returning to site to ensure a timely turnaround that supports the approved CAPEX budgetary plan.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of component statuses and raise potential risks and problems to management.
  • Forecast required component rebuilds and alert the team of any shortfalls in supply.
  • Support the budgeting process by estimating, tracking, and reporting all times and costs associated with core management.
  • Help establish and review inventory minimums and critical spares based on this data.
  • Maintain accurate records for each warranty claim, rebuilt component, and exchange core returned in the Agnico Eagle CMMS.
  • Adhere to our core management processes (tag programs) and provide feedback for improvements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Technical or university education in a relevant field (e.g., finance, mechanics, project management, or engineering) and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Maintenance Planning role, ideally with a strong logistics background.
  • Previous planning experience in a mining environment.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint).
  • Understand and navigate basic and ambiguous financial situations.

Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d'Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC.
  • Frequent visits to our Meadowbank Complex are also required.
