Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic acupuncture treatments to promote patient well-being and support overall health. Candidates with hospital experience and a strong background in patient care are highly preferred. The position requires a thorough understanding of medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile, single-use needles with precision and care
  • Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations
  • Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols during procedures
  • Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques and integrate best practices into patient care

Experience

  • Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with clinical environments and patient interactions
  • Proven experience in patient care, showcasing compassion, professionalism, and excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings is essential for effective documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Certification or licensing as an Acupuncturist according to state regulations is required
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams is a plus, emphasizing teamwork and adaptability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
